Joel 2.12
Sincerity is required, so often we:
- Refuse to turn or be turned, the LORD says ‘turn’
- Rely on ourselves or others, the LORD says ‘to me’
- Ruled by our heads, the LORD says ‘with all your heart’
- Refuse to give things up, the LORD says ‘with fasting’
- Don’t Recognise and value what we are doing, the LORD says ‘with weeping’
- Don’t React to loss, the LORD says ‘with mourning’
